We're back.

We're back after our 2184 mile, 19 day road trip to North Michigan via Niagara Falls and back via Toronto and upstate New York. The ambitious trip went much better than we could have ever have hoped with the girls being wonderful passengers, and Shelley being a great navigator. Postings of each of our journey stages will follow in the next couple of days.

How to make peace with God

The four simple steps:
1. Admit your need for forgiveness (I am a sinner).
2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died to take the punishment for all your sins (past, present and future) on the cross and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receiving Jesus as you Saviour).

What to pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am sinful and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died to pay the penalty for my sin. I want to turn from my sinful nature and follow You instead. I invite You to come into my heart and life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

So what?
If you sincerely prayed this prayer and asked Jesus to come into your life, you have just inherited everlasting life, and a new life now. It's as simple as that.

"Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be SAVED" Romans 10:13.

Your new life:
When you receive Christ and so make peace with God, you are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, who lives in every believer... this is called regeneration or 'new birth'. God bless you as you begin your wonderful new life in Christ.
